For Mother’s Day I thought Calistoga would be nice. Overcast skies when my mother and I arrived. We decided on Brannen’s for dinner. We both got shot down on our choice of French Dip. Same went for her choice of Red wine. Odd considering the waiter told us everything on the menu is available. We settled on cheeseburgers , my mom’s without cheese. A delicious second choice.

The second day the sun is back. A little wind. Just about perfect.Checkers was our choice for lunch. Not bad.
